Jim's surgery went well. The doc didn't actually come out and talk to me! ?? But apparently he did well and I got him around 6:30. He's taking Percocet and having his first food since the surgery. Good night!

So glad to hear things went well but I'm surprised that the doctor didn't talk to you. Did you get follow-up instructions??? I'd call them if I were you!
Sally, the only thing that could keep me from seeing you is something like this :) Actually, the doc thought I could do the trip before the surgery. We will know more on 11/1.
well all i can say is: you sure went to a lot of trouble to try to get out of coming to "INDIANAPOLIS" Colts country! What's your Dr's. name? Maybe I need to call him and make sure he says you are travel-ready by then. Were you going to fly or drive?
Roland, Yes, I think Dr. U would prescribe bed rest over driving through Indy. You never know what might kick a true blue Baltimore Colt fan given their track record. ;) A side note, while Payton is a fine QB, in fact a really great one, he didn't break any Unitas record for a franchise. Unitas was a Baltimore Colt and his Baltimore Record stands. Any mention otherwise is akin to spitting on his grave.
