Thankfully, Matthew doesn't seem to love Oreo cookies. He calls them "black cookies". I myself don't like them because they are crumbly and go everywhere. He didn't seem to like them either for that reason. At least, that seemed to be the reason. He liked the taste, but he told me afterward that there was "bwack cookie" on his hands, and he requested that I clean him. Click on the picture for a larger view.

Has he seen that commercial for Dominos, I think, where they have an oreo cookie pizza and all the guys in the commercial have differing stages of it all around their mouths and chins? Guess as picky as Matthew is about getting cleaned off, it's to be expected that he wouldn't want "oreo hands and face" all over HIM!

Oh My Goodness!!! I guess I don't have that problem because I put the whole half of the oreo in my big(haha) mouth to eat it. I pull the sides apart and eat one without icing and one with. I don't get any crumbs!!
He would make Uncle Don proud wanting to keep his hands clean.

I guess everyone has their way of eating Oreos. Perhaps putting the whole thing in is cleaner! :-) If Matthew had seen the commercial, he'd want it. He's started wanting everything fun or delicious on the commercials.
Update: Matthew just had to have tiny oreo cookies for lunch at Safeway, today (10/9/07). While he may have not been crazy about the large ones, the little ones were right to his liking. He wolfed them down and wanted more. Of course, it was impossible for me to clean. They definitely don't "blend".
