**UPDATED 12/31 with picture!**Matthew did the sweetest thing and I have to share. Yesterday it was very cold and windy. Getting ready to go on some errands, Matthew went outside first as he often does. Unfortunately, when he went outside, the garage door locked behind him. However, as he tells it, when he discovered the door was locked, he decided to help out while he was waiting for us. He went down our steep hill to retrieve the giant recycling bin which the wind had blown down.
Now, we didn't know all this. We were inside getting Nathan all bundled up and getting his diaper bag ready. We heard noises, but this is often the case with Matthew; he either plays loud or is over dramatic on matters. I thought I heard something, but he will often do something like play bad guys loudly.
So when we opened the garage door, we heard a "HELP! HELP!!" You could hear him actually crying and calling out! When we looked out the garage door, Matthew was stuck with the recycling bin on the hill, trying so hard to pull it up but could not. He shouted out, "I am trying to get the recycling bin but I can't." I mean he was worried and crying about the bin.
What a helpful boy!! We are trying to teach him about being helpful and there he was. He was really worried about the bin blowing away.

That is so considerate of him! Sounds like you are teaching him the right things.
