6 Week Update

Well, Nathan's been here for 6 weeks as of Wednesday and all is still well. He's growing so fast!! He's sleeping 3 and sometimes 4 hours at a stretch during the night and he's not only at the end of his NEWBORN clothes, he's nearly at the end of his 0-3 month clothes. I'm hoping I can find the 3-6 month clothes really soon, cause i don't know what I'll do if I can't. Haha, they're around here somewhere.

Matthew still likes him, but I think he's somewhat bored. He KNEW Nathan wouldn't do much in the beginning, but the reality's sort of soaking in. One thing Matthew really likes is Nathan's funny faces, especially when burping. When I burp Nathan on my lap, Matthew will laugh hysterically, shouting "Look at his face!!!" He still thinks the slightest peep is so loud and I keep reminding him that he, Matthew, was way louder. A good thing, I see, is that Matthew is being able to occupy himself more. Perhaps gaining some independence. I mean, I guess it's pretty much expected at age 5, but having a new baby has helped even more with that.

Here's a picture of the two of them. I had put Nathan in the baby swing and Dad's hat on the top. Nathan couldn't stop staring at the hat. So Matthew asked him, "you want to play with the hat, baby?" and took down the hat. Matthew continually learns that Nathan still doesn't do much. :-)
