Matthew came inside bawling like a wild man yesterday after Next Door Neighbor "A" and he played with swords, a.k.a. sticks. Matthew wanted to take part; it wasn't A's fault. Anyhow, things got a little too exciting and Matthew got hit hard on his left ear and was bleeding.
Matthew doesn't do well with blood or even scabs.
After I got him calmed down, he told me the gory details and how he wanted to show "A" some Kung Fu. He said, "I told him, 'A, do your foot like this. Like the panda.' " Evidently, something bad happened after he tried to show A...either A didn't do it as Matthew wanted, or A hit him, or something. Because every time he tried to tell about the panda kick, his cried that cry that is so pitiful.
Even tho it was so pitiful, it was awfully cute at the same time!! He was trying out some moves from Kung Fu Panda!

I wondered how long it would take Matthew to mimic "Kung Fu Panda"! Maybe getting his ear cloobered will stop him the next time (we can only hope)!

I guess Aunt Betsy will get part responsibility for the clobbered ear!! I wanted to take him to Kung Fu Panda....I went to see Wall-E but it wasn't the same seeing it without Matthew. We'll have to see it together on video at Thanksgiving!
