"Cheese"

As of Friday (when this picture was taken) Matthew eats macaroni and cheese. Hooray! That means that he can eat just one more thing when he goes out! It started on Friday afternoon when I had a slice of Kraft American cheese for myself--you know, the sliced kind in its own wrapper. Matthew said "cheese!" "cheese!" and I thought Okay, I'll try. He liked it! Kept begging for more. So I gave it all to him.

For dinner that night, I thought I'd keep up the cheese momentum by offering him some mac and cheese I had purchased in advance for such a day as this. After making it (and waiting for it to boil, then mixing it up), once again he begged for "cheese!"..."cheese!". I guess he likes it for real, at least this week. Thankfully, they have some instant individual servings of mac and cheese that cook up in 3 1/2 minutes.

I don't think there are very many "little kids" around who DON'T like mac and cheese - at least none that I know and remember, there's plenty of protein in it, too (like the peanut butter in his other favorite meal)!

Yeah, all kids love mac & cheese. Lucas still loves it! Keep plenty of Easy Mac in the pantry and you'll have it made.

Mac and cheese are still one of my favorites!!!! I could eat the whole bowl myself. Ryan keeps those small packages for himself too.
