See the little naked boy? I couldn't keep him still while waiting for the doctor. He was into cabinets, but thankfully, there was a box of books there for him to look at. He brought over several to me as I waited in a chair. So, here's how he's doing:
Weight: 24 lbs., 12 oz. (just over 25 percentile)
Height: 32 inches (just over 50%)
Head circ: 48 cm(just over 50%) GROWTH CHART
Doc said he should be eating mostly table foods...rather than just Dino Nuggets, unless I want to end up being a short-order cook from here on. Set out what we're eating, chopped up, and give him the spoon. If he doesn't eat, he'll soon learn. She said I just need to grimace and let it go as he slops things onto the floor. (OH MY. Well, I've placed a large trash bag under his chair.) More on this soon. I have a new video to post.
He's a little ahead of the pack in his language skills.
Timeouts: We can institute time outs, about one minute in the crib or playpen. This is for deliberate acts of pinching, biting, kicking, throwing in anger. I believe her on this...we've been wondering what we can do at these times.
Lots of safety items on our 18 month sheet they give us. The doc said that between now & 3 years is when most child-inflicted wounds occur.

He still looks like a cute little guy-even if he has moved up to "time-out" situations!!! Oh well, welcome to parenting for the next 18 years!!!!
love, aunt betsy
