Gummy Frogs
A couple of weeks ago, Mr. Keith brought Matthew a very fitting present. Green gummy frogs. All elements--green, gummy, frogs--all are his favorite. Here he is with two of the gummy frogs, along with his new haircut today. The recent pictures are with the camera phone. My NEW camera battery arrived just now, Matthew told me.

Matthew's bangs look a little crooked to me - daddy have a problem with matthew sitting still during his haircut? He always looks so cute with his hair short!

Actually, this haircut was unusual for many reasons. We were down south of here on Saturday when Dad was flying back into town. We went to the Container Store, a noodle shop (Matthew's idea) and afterwards walked around outside the shops.
We saw a Cartoon Cuts that Matthew didn't recognize at first. We walked in and he saw the games/children's theme. I told him to spend time in there you had to get a haircut. To that, he replied, "not today, it's too cold." We went to Whole Foods and bought a cookie and ate it outside of Cartoon cuts. After the cookie he was curious about the games inside. I asked him, "you want to get your hair cut?" and he said "not today, Mama." After a while, he said on his own, "I want a haircut."
WHOA! As long as it's his idea, it's okay. He watched Blues Clues and only got squirmy when we used the hair clippers. There was no fit when it was HIS idea.
Does that mean we can call him "little don" now? haha

I think it sounds like Matthew is still "Fidel"!!! Although Aunt Sally has a point, it IS like Uncle Don Don. If it's his idea it's GREAT, if it's not forget it. hmmmm, how did that happen? AND no wonder he likes Uncle Don Don so much!!! Kindred spirits???? oh boy!
