No More High Chair

For about two weeks, Matthew hasn't been using his highchair, but sitting at his booster at the big table. He could've been doing this earlier, but it was easier for me to feed him in the high chair.

Anyhow, Matthew's decided that he's done with the high chair for good and now it's time to retire the chair to the basement.

Here's Matthew posing today with a red lollipop. To the right is the earliest picture I found of Matthew in his chair (5/12/05). How tiny in that chair. Before the high chair, he sat in the booster also, but he sat on TOP of the table. :-) The high chair served us well, and we bought it for about $30 at Lucy's!

Oh My Gosh, he has turned into a little boy already. He is still such a cutie.

Sort of bittersweet isn't it to retire the high chair? He looks so different in this picture and so big! I guess since he's going to be 3 soon, it's probably time to retire the high chair, though. He's probably having an easier time with it than you guys are, right?!

That's correct. The high chair was very easy...near the refills of ketchup, juice, and so on. Higher up was better for the back, too!

He looks so grown up and so proud that he's become a big boy. All these rights of passage are hard, aren't they??
