Like That Song

Matthew's vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds! Yesterday, we were in the bedroom and he turned on my clock radio which wakes me up to classical music. He heard the song, listened, paused, and told me, "I like that. I like that song."

I asked him, "You like that song?" And he said, "Yes. Bootiful." (Fancy, new word.) He kept listening intently. Finally it turned into something I know--Pomp and Circumstance. Oh boy, he really liked that. He tapped his foot and shook his head along with the beat and said once more. "I like that."

and so now we have another generation of Palmer/Larr classical music lovers. Wouldn't Dad and Uncle Dale and Michael be proud of THAT?!!

We need to plan to take Matthew to Indy together to see Uncle Dale, Patty and all of the gang! They'd love that he is in to music like that!! That's so neat.

Okay, just to be completely honest, he likes country music, too! :-) I'm not sure he's all that refined...I guess we'll see!
