This is what you get when you cross soft water, foaming frog soap, and a tired mom who isn't supervising enough. Matthew was quietly standing on his stool at the sink when I found him. Bubbles were everywhere, all the way up to his elbows.

How cute is that!! Easy for me to say from way out here, isn't it? This reminds me of the time I went in to get Lucas up from a nap. The dressing table was too close to the crib and he had found the vaseline, which he had smeared everywhere, and then the baby powder, which he had liberally sprinkled all over the vaseline! Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

OMG -- that is too funny! Love the recent photos of Matthew. Isn't it amazing how fast they grow!!
How is Matthew doing with his fork and spoon during eating? We basically use utensils as diversionary tactics during meal time!
BTW -- Jonah has entered the dipping phase. In his mind, everything should be dipped in ketchup!!! GROSS
Debi-That's FUNNY about Luke! I can't imagine. The bubbles were easy to clean up.
Stephanie-Diversionary tactics? I would like to divert Matthew from something, because the experience is still so messy. He really wants a fork/spoon at every meal. Dipping--that's our diversionary tactic, diverting him from his stubborn attitute of NOT eating. He sees ketchup or McD sweet & sour sauce, and he suddenly wants to eat, sometimes even dipping only his own fingers! GROSS is right!
Well.......you wanted him to wash his hands!!!!!!! He's just doing what you wanted. How funny!!!!

So what's the problem with "dipping everything"? Hahaha!! He reminds me of Brad in this picture - I saw that look too many times when he was growing up - no, wait - I STILL see that look from time to time! HAHA!
