Great Ride Home
Matthew amazes us sometimes. He can be so uptight on some things, but on other things (like 11-12 hour rides in the car), he's okay. He did well both ways on the ride to and from Indiana. The ride out was about 11 hrs, 15 mins long. The ride back to Maryland was almost 13 hours, because of rain and traffic. Here, Matthew is enjoying one of his birthday cards. He played, napped, and looked out with no problem during either trip, minus the times he was hungry.

I'm so glad Matthew did well on the trip home! I'm sure it made the long, wet drive home a little easier to take. It was great to see you all. I feel VERY privileged to have been able to hold Matthew for several minutes:))
