Anyhow, Jim and I brought him in, hung up his back pack, picked his name on a leaf to put on a tree, then walked out. As we were walking out the door, he already had an airplane in his hand! He was just fine--and so were we! :-) I smiled the whole way home.
I did little things around the house, but I quickly see how driving from school to home to school is kind of a waste of time. I'll have to figure out how to use the time.

Maybe Matthew is just unsure of things he doesn't know about. Once he sees what a situation is, he sounds like it's okay!
I used to see that doing my grocery shopping or other small errands was a good use of my time for preschool! Kindergarten was that way too. Time but not enough time. Maybe Dada can take him once in awhile. Then you'd have lots of time to do stuff at home!

I wonder who that sounds like, Aunt Betsy?! haha! there are several of us in our family! I KNEW Matthew would love it but the pix of Dada looking back at him is pretty cute - you always hope a tiny part of them still thinks they can't make it without you! Fortunately feeling that way doesn't last for long!
