For whatever reason, Matthew tells the most incredibly tall tales about Grandma. He only has one living grandparent, Jim's mother. But according to Matthew, that woman has done so many strange things.
She's taught him to rap ("psssth-kaw"), for one. And another time, when he wanted to go to Wal-mart to buy a transformer, he insisted that it was "Gruhm-ma's" birthday in 5 weeks and he needed to buy the transformer for her. These little stories are completely hilarious. We wonder if he is actually speaking of Grandma, but occasionally, in one of his tall tales, he goes to "Gruhm-ma's" house, so we think he is.
Jim and I have NO idea why he does this. I wish I could remember them all, but he tells them so quickly & moves on before I could ever write them down.
But today, as I was putting gas into the car, Matthew started telling a story again. "I wait with gas and Gruhm-ma in the car." Aha! Finally a true story about Grandma!! When we go to Grandma's house, we sometimes put gas in the car when she's with us.
