They also weren't the most attractive tennis shoe available, but they were on sale! A good thing at Stride Rite, when his feet are growing quickly. I got tennis shoes for the summer fun he's bound to have.

New Shoes
It has been 6-7 weeks since our last shoe fitting. Matthew was a 5, extra wide. Extra wide is typical with babies, they said, with their fat little baby feet. Anyhow, he jumped to a size 6, which the lady called quite a big jump. So, here are Matthew's little shoes. I got them with velcro, so Mom (and Dad) could easily fasten them, but I wasn't thinking. Even before shutting the van door, he had them opened up. I'm not sure this is going to work!

Look at it this way, maybe he'll learn to put his own shoes on now! You can practice by saying "go get your shoes and we'll put them on." He's so independent sometimes that it may just work!!!
