Drowsy Boy
This face is typical after church, after all the fun of nursery toys. Yesterday, we traveled to Grandma's and Matthew slept much of the way. I always have to hope he doesn't get drowsy while I'm out during a typical morning. Once he goes to sleep, there's almost no waking him up from it, and then we get home and he won't take a nap.

When Corey was little, we would go to Joyce's every Sunday afternoon for dinner after church. On the way back home, he would ALWAYS try to fall asleep and we would ALWAYS try to keep him awake so that he would take a good nap when we got home. Most of the time, we failed and he slept the 20 minutes from Brazil to Terre Haute...and then no more the rest of the afternoon!!

I can imagine what you are saying, exactly. And with all of Corey's energy, I'd be thinkin' PLEASE take a nap, child! :-)

sounds typical to me! I remember with brad especially that he would go to sleep in his car seat and then NOT again until bedtime and with brad, we ALWAYS wanted him to have a good nap!!
