Homemade Baby Food

We purchased a
Braun Multiquick Professional Hand Blender that replaces a blender, mixer, and chopper and is supposed to be perfect for making baby food.

Cost analysis: My one sweet potato cost $1.37 and produced 28 food cubes (approx. 1 oz each). If I purchased the same amound of jarred food, at about 50 cents for 2.5 oz, it would have cost me about $5.60! We've discovered that one cube makes about 2 servings for Matthew, right now.

By the way, with the mixer, I can easily make one serving of Mom's Excellent Potato Soup.

Wow-that's great! Now if you could only find organic foods to feed him, he'd end up being healthier than any of the rest of us!
