Cats & Change Management

The "What to Expect: The First Year" book, given to me by my sister Debi, talks about preparing your pets for a new baby. At work, we would call this "change management". The book has many suggestions, like carrying around a doll, playing a tape of crying baby, etc. (Can't imagine, but whatever. :-) Here, I'm showing Pepper the cradle for the first time. Notice his wide eyes. He's smart; he knows something's up. If that doesn't work, I can always bribe him with MD crabs!
